In our quest to further diversify our products and service range, we have just launched our Mortgage Loan Division under which the following will be offered:

  • Home Loan
  • Home Loan under Bangladesh Bank refinancing scheme
  • Real Estate Development Finance

You may apply for LankaBangla Home Loan for any of the following purposes:

  • Purchase of Apartments or House
  • Construction of House
  • Renovation and Restructuring of House

Loan Amount

  • Apartment or House Purchase: Maximum 70% of the cost price (including Car parking space and registration cost)
  • Construction or renovation of House: Maximum 60% of the construction cost.

Tenure of Repayment

  • Apartment or House Purchase:- Maximum 20 years term, subject to the borrower’s age not exceeding 60 years within the tenure of loan.
  • Construction of House: Maximum 10 years, subject to the borrower’s age will not exceed 60 years within the tenure of loan.

ode of Repayment

  • Arrear basis
  • Equated Monthly Installment.

Disbursement
Total or Partial disbursement can be allowed depending on requirement of client. But Loan will be disbursed after investment of borrower’s own and progress of construction works .

Collateral
Proposed property and/or any property acceptable to LankaBangla may be taken and collateral against Home Loan. Property is required to be Registered Mortgage as per Law prevailing in Bangladesh.

Fees & Charges
Processing fee is required to be paid with the application form. And documentation fees is required to be paid after approval.

to protect your housing investment from future uncertainties such as accidental death or disability that may befall upon you, LankaBangla Home Loan is supplemented by Home Loan Shield that comes with a very low premium.

Purpose
To purchase or construct an apartment for residence

Eligibility

  • If your monthly income is not more than Tk.50,000
  • And you do not have any other houses/ apartments either in your name or in the name of your spouse/ children in the areas as mentioned below
  • Also that, you have not received any housing finance from your employer or any other bank or financial institution

Location of Apartment
The apartment has to be located in one of the 6 city corporations of the country (Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi,
Sylhet, Khulna, Barisal) and either in Tongi, Gazipur, Savar or Narayanganj municipality.  

Size of Apartment
The size of the apartment may not exceed 1250 sqft

Maximum Loan Amount
You can avail a maximum of Tk.20 lacs

Repayment Period
The repayment period of this loan is maximum 20 years with a moratorium of 1 year

Rate of Interest
Rate of Interest 9% per annum

Collateral and Others
Property, which you are availing against loan shall be required to mortgage in favour of
LankaBangla as per prevailing law in Bangladesh.
