A term sheet signing ceremony to raise capital through issuance of Preference Shares for Karnaphuli Power Limited, a concern of Baraka Group was held on October 19, 2017 at LankaBangla premises. LankaBangla Finance Limited will act as the Mandated Arranger to raise the fund for setting up a 110 MW HFO based power plant at Shikalbaha, Chattogram. From Karnaphuli Power Limited, Mr. Faisal Ahmed Chowdhury, Chairman, Mr. Gulam Rabbani Chowdhury, Managing Director, Mr. Mohammed Monirul Islam, Director (Finance) and from LankaBangla Finance Mr. Khwaja Shahriar, Managing Director & CEO, Mr. Mohammad Shoaib, Head of Corporate Finance Division along with other senior officials from both the companies were present in the mentioned event.
