Recently, a MoU signing ceremony was organized by LankaBangla Foundation at Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital near Uttara, Dhaka.Khwaja Shahriar, Managing Director & CEO of LankaBangla Finance Limited and Al Hajj Kazi Rafiqul Alam, Chairman of Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital along with the Managing Director of the hospital and a renowned oncologist Prof. Dr. Kamruzzaman Chowdhury (MBBS, FCPS, DMRT)signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.Through this agreement, a well-equipped dialysiscenter will be set up in the hospital for the treatment of kidney patients and LankaBangla Foundation will provide a total grant of Tk.1.29 crore to the Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital for the establishment of this dialysis center.
On this occasion, the heads of both the organizations discussed various issues related to the advanced treatment of kidney diseases and the establishment and management of dialysis center in Bangladesh. Khwaja Shahriar, Managing Director & CEO of LankaBangla Finance said, “Since the beginning, LankaBangla Foundation has been working unitedly with various institutions to serve the society with the aim of improving socio-economic conditions, healthand environment of the country. I hope that from this dialysis center, the general people will be able to get accessible and advanced medical care.”
Also, the Chairman of Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital, Al Hajj Kazi Rafiqul Alam said, “Ahsania Mission’s target is to establish a world-class healthcare center to serve all categories of people in need of cancer treatment on one hand and help save valuable foreign exchange on the other hand. Our hospital is always committed to deliver healthcare services at people’s doorsteps.I believe, patients suffering from kidney problems will be able to receive quality medical care from this dialysis center”. He expressed his sincere appreciation to LankaBangla Foundation for contributing to this progress of the hospital project.

As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, LankaBangla Foundation has been organizing this kind of program to provide medical services for among the general people of the country and to make the 25 years anniversary of LankaBangla Finance special.
