The campaign duration is from Dec 01, 2019 to Jan 31, 2020
Cardholders of Mastercard-branded cards are expected to use the Card during the campaign period for at least four (4) transactions for a minimum value of either BDT 1,000 for Domestic transactions for any personal expense (i.e. commercial spent will not be eligible) at physical or eCommerce merchants.
There will be Prizes for the most frequent card users in the ‘Highest Frequency of Use’ category, where the Grand Prize Winner will win an ‘All-Expenses Paid Trip’ for 3 nights and 4 days for a couple to Barcelona, Spain. There are wide ranges of other exciting prizes including travel packages to other exciting locations, Vouchers, Gadgets and many more will be given to the top scoring Mastercard Cardholders which includes international Travel Packages to exotic destinations, gadgets, Vouchers or any other prize deemed fit by Mastercard.
Each purchase made using a Mastercard-branded card will earn points as follow:
2 Points for a Domestic POS or Ecommerce Retail Transaction of Tk. 1,000 or above on Mastercard Credit Card
3 Points for any Retail POS or Ecommerce Transaction of BDT 1000 or more with the newly issued Mastercard (NTB Issuance between: Oct’19-Jan’20)
Split or multiple transactions at the same merchant location within the same day will not be eligible; & only one transaction will be counted. Any MFS Account or e-wallet loading transaction will not be eligible for this campaign.
The winners will be selected based on maximum points scored with frequency as the primary criteria. In cases where 2 or more Mastercard Cardholders score the same number of points, the winner will be decided on the basis of the higher transaction value. In the event the transaction value is also identical for 2 or more Mastercard Cardholders, the winner will be decided on the basis of who made the transaction earlier.
Only retail transactions will be eligible for this campaign and Mastercard reserves the rights to disallow any transaction performed for commercial purposes
Mastercard will conduct, implement and manage the Campaign itself and will be responsible for the Gifts to be procured for the winners of the Campaign through it’s nominated agency.
